The State of the Tau Expeditionary Forces
Well, I've been working on my Tau for a while and I'm getting a fair amount done. I decided it was time for an update on the state of my Tau expeditionary forces. You can see what I've gotten done and what I have left to do. While I'm at it, you can see what the whole force is capable of at the moment. This update will get you up to speed on what I've accomplished and will help me keep on track for what I've still got left to do. (If you are looking for advice on how to get things accomplished, do something like this. Seriously, this is a great way of keeping on track and on task.)

Here's what I've gotten accomplished recently...
Painted all Crisis Suits
Painted all Broadside Suits. As I was doing this, I realized that I seem to have lost one of my Railguns. Well, unless I find it, I guess I'll just have 8 of them for the moment.
Magnetized all Battlesuits (some of them had been assembled without magnets, so I had to pull off the weapons and attach the magnets)
Magnetized all weapons (including the ones pulled off of Battlesuits)

Quite some time ago, Kenton Kilgore of The Fighting Tigers of Veda fame gave some good advice on second (and subsequent) armies. His advice was to restrict them to a single Force Organization Chart. That means no more than 2 HQ, 3 Elite, 6 Troops, 3 Fast Attack and 3 Heavy Support. That means that you can use all of your models at the same time and there is no waste. This also limits the amount of models you have and thus limits the money and time you spend on them. While my Tau Empires army won't quite fit that, it's pretty close. The Sniper Drone Team will overlap with a couple of Broadsides, but that's it. Not too bad, I think. Not too much wasted effort.
